The Danubius Gastro fair was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic. A total of 321 exhibitors from the Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Austria, Italy and Slovakia presented themselves at the fair.
The attractive fair was visited by 72 764 visitors over four days. The inclusion of the Danubius Gastro fair in the calendar of exhibitions and fairs for 2012 guaranteed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic was reflected in a broader representation of Slovak food and beverage producers. Within the framework of the National Programme for the Support of Domestic Agricultural Products and Foodstuffs, the Quality Mark SK exposition was presented.
The Danubius Gastro fair was officially opened by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic Zsolt Simon together with the CEO of Incheba, a.s. Alexander Rozin.
Among the many exhibitors was also the company Doma a.s. with a new groundbreaking product of healthy nutrition – Eggcheese. Visitors were very interested in the cheese made from egg whites and its tasting was a great success. Many were surprised by its excellent taste, which is reminiscent of chicken, and not only in its texture and appearance. Gourmets enjoyed smoked and unsmoked Eggcheese as well as various types of salads.
Participation in the exhibition contributed to a better recognition of the Eggcheese product and we believe that it opened the door to other markets for us.
