What do the experts say ?

Shmaky brings to the daily food ration only high-quality and wholesome protein from the egg white – albumin – which no longer contains any energy components – glycides or fats, and therefore, of course, no traces of the much feared cholesterol.

As a semi-finished product, it can be modified in various ways according to the patient’s taste and habits. And this is beneficial not only for weight loss, but also for a healthy lifestyle in both children and adults.

When reducing weight, it is necessary to monitor not only the amount of energy intake, but also the composition of the diet. It is important that the slimmer takes in a sufficient amount of protein.
The problem is that most animal proteins are often accompanied by fats, which we need to limit.

The excellent health food product Shmaky, which is based on a protein similar to chicken meat, helps to solve this problem. One hundred grams of this food contains only 220 kj, provides your body with important proteins and most importantly you will really enjoy it. In addition to the classic treatments where you can treat a slice of Shmaky like chicken, this product can also help us handle crisis situations such as unmanageable cravings in front of the TV. Instead of chips or peanuts, you can enjoy seasoned slices of diced Shmaki. If you eat 200 g of Shmaks instead of 100 g of nuts, you take in 5 times less energy and only half a gram of fat instead of 45 g. You don’t deplete the taste cells, you deplete the fat cells.

Incorrect lifestyle or improper lifestyle causes health problems starting with increased vulnerability, especially of the circulatory system and the musculoskeletal system, and through degenerative changes in the human body can lead to disability, i.e. an unfulfilling life, not only in terms of aesthetics, but also economically.

In our republic, cardiovascular diseases are the most common cause of premature death – 52.8%.
In the industrialised countries of Europe and the USA, it is primarily overconsumption and imbalance of food that leads to a careless lifestyle resulting in increased weight and obesity. In the Czech Republic, more than half of the population is obese and obesity is on the rise in both childhood and adulthood. Almost half of children and adults have elevated blood cholesterol levels.
The daily recommended food intake depends on age and physical activity and is around 2800 kcal for adults, with the basic nutrients represented by 20% protein, 30% fat and 50% glycides. Proteins perform the basic building function, fats and glycides the energy function. However, in the common diet of today’s fast-paced lifestyle, quality protein is lacking and energy components exceed this ratio. We need to remember that the primary sources of protein, which are meat and milk, bring both fats and glycides into the body with the protein.
In addressing this issue, we have welcomed the inclusion of Eggcheese/Shmaky in the normal daily diet of our paediatric and adult patients in our dietary therapy practice.

Our experience so far with the Shmaka is not yet long term, but so far very good.

The Eggcheese/Shmaky product is very advantageous for use in the diet of the sick. The classic form (without additives, single species) allows for use in strict diets, where it supplements the necessary amount of protein without the risk of simultaneous fat intake.

For chronic diseases, especially diabetics and those with lipid metabolism disorders, a wider range of products and technological modifications can be used to ensure the intake of quality protein without the simultaneous intake of unwanted animal fat.

Thanks to its mild taste, Shmaky allows a wide range of culinary uses not only as a meat substitute, but also as a substitute for cheese or cottage cheese. The ever-expanding variants of the products produced and supplied also provide a solution for sick sausage lovers, as sausages (mixed with chicken), for example, are an effective substitute for conventional sausages. However, the fat content of this product is considerably lower.
